A class of 20 squadmen from the Ramsey Rescue Squad and the Saddle River Valley Rescue Squad recently completed a 48 course in rescuing victims from confined spaces, such as underground pipes and vaults.  The course was given by RVESCUE of North Branch, New Jersey.  The instructors, in red tee-shirts (L) to (R):  Jerry Haney, Chris Szymanski, Bucky Buchanan, Gary Breuer, Frank Emanuelle and Matt Stroll.

Congratulations go out today to RVESCUE Instructor Jeremy Colby, who got married to his new bride Amy today.  Jeremy holds classes for Bloodborne Pathogens and ICS-100.

April 16, 2008

Today, RVESCUE LLC of North Branch, NJ was awarded the “Highest RATE YOUR PROGRAM” scores in the Nation for the month of March 2008 from American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI). Congratulations go out to our CPR & First Aid instructors who received high marks, Matty Hoffman, Duck Kauczka and Bob Rainey. 

April 15, 2008

Congratulations go out to our very own Matt Strohl, Director of Raritan Valley Emergency Services, who has been selected to join the Virginia USAR Task Force #2 (VA-TF2) as a Logistics Specialist.  Matt is a Firefighter/EMT with the Virginia Beach Fire Department, currently serving at their Station #3.

March 21, 2008

Congratulations to Brayden Fahey, Administrative Assistant and LSI Instructor with RVESCUE on being appointed to the NJ EMS Task Force.  Brayden will be serving as a Staging & Accountability Specialist with the NJEMSTF.  He is a part-time EMT/FF with the Whitehouse Rescue Squad, Deputy County EMS Coordinator with Hunterdon County OEM/EMS Bureau and Captain with the Flemington/Raritan First Aid & Rescue Squad.
