Length of Course
RVESCUE's NJ-enhanced program takes the basic program, and adds in State-Specific topics as well, in 3 different course lengths:
- Half-day course (approximately 5 hours) covers:
Overview of Leadership essentials; Impact of ethics on leadership; Leadership communications; and a mini-networking session - Full-day course (approximately 8 hours) covers: Half-day program PLUS leadership styles; interpersonal leadership; mentoring & subordinate development and team-building
- Full Program - 24 classroom hours cover: Full-day program plus NJ Emergency Services Function #8 (EMS); NJ EMS Resources review / RDDB; psychology of leadership; interpersonal leadership; leader's role in performance improvement; group activity; individual presentations; leading change; and finally, preparing for the future of EMS.
